A brief history on how we got started

Stagemonsters started in a small town called Leominster in 1999 by myself Andy, and my colleague Ryan. We left school and started sound and light engineering for a 10 piece r&b band using 8 spot lights and a 400watt pa. It wasn't long before we started needing to buy larger amplification, a bigger mixing console and lighting equipment to cover the needs of the band and its clients. Within the first year we had upgraded the kit and were running a 3k sound system and 24 parcans complete with dimming console. Shortly after that we were asked to help with the stage lighting and sound for a school play (the school we had left) for which we needed yet more equipment. Word got out that we were supply pa and lighting systems in the town and soon the gigs came rolling in, we officially couldn't keep up with the demand, so we asked about to see if there was anyone that would help, they did, so then we went off and bought and even bigger pa and yet more lights, it was getting to the point we had enough sound and lighting we could do a rock concert (or so we thought)  so when we were asked to go and do the sound and lighting for a local festival we said yes, they were very happy with everything we had done and commented that this was the best sound and light show they had ever had there.

We have done many festivals, theatre productions and shows of all different kinds now and have joined with a sister company called "hearts desire" that help run the lighting side of our company when we run out of equipment. since then we have never looked back.
